Sunmun Technology chairman’s detention lifted, awaits investigation

Suzhou Sunmun Technology Co., Ltd. announced on October 1, 2025, that its actual controller, chairman, and president, Lu Yong, is no longer under detention. Previously, on July 29, 2025, the company disclosed that Lu Yong had been placed under detention by the Qidong City Supervisory Commission.

The company received notification on September 30, 2025, that the Qidong City Supervisory Commission issued a "Notice of Change in Detention Measures," converting Lu Yong's status to "ordered to await investigation." Currently, Lu Yong is able to perform his duties as chairman and president, and the company's production and operations remain normal.
