Qinghai Salt Lake starts commissioning 40,000-ton lithium salt project

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co. has officially commenced the feeding and commissioning phase for its 40,000 tons/year integrated project for basic lithium salts. This move aligns with the "Expand Lithium" strategic deployment within the company's "14th Five-Year Plan" for ecological salt lake industrial development. The project, initially announced in 2022, has reached a critical juncture with key equipment, including the adsorption lithium extraction unit, producing qualified liquid during trial runs.

The project's main construction is complete. The nanofiltration reverse osmosis system has finished membrane installation and water linkage, while the lithium precipitation and public auxiliary engineering have completed single-unit commissioning of core equipment. The project is now successfully producing battery-grade lithium carbonate products.

The commissioning of this 40,000 tons/year integrated project is set to substantially increase Qinghai Salt Lake Industry's lithium salt production capacity. This expansion is expected to enhance the company's market competitiveness, profitability, and risk resistance, providing crucial support for the high-quality development of its ecological salt lake industry and injecting robust momentum into its sustainable growth.
