SF Holding reports robust August 2025 logistics growth

SF Holding Co., Ltd. announced its express and logistics business operating results for August 2025, reporting a total revenue of RMB247.87 bn, a 7.86% year-on-year increase. The core express logistics segment saw revenue grow 14.14% to RMB186.57 bn, with business volumes surging 34.80% to 1.406 bn parcels. Despite this volume increase, the average revenue per parcel decreased 15.32% to RMB13.27.

The company attributed the strong performance in express logistics to its continuous efforts in enhancing standard products and integrated logistics services, catering to diverse customer needs across manufacturing and consumer sectors. Conversely, the supply chain and international business segment experienced a 7.61% revenue decrease to RMB61.30 bn.

This decline was primarily due to fluctuations in international trade, a slowdown in the freight market, and a significant year-on-year drop in sea freight prices impacting international freight forwarding revenue. However, SF Holding noted that its international express and cross-border e-commerce logistics businesses achieved relatively fast growth, leveraging its global network and diverse product offerings to adapt to market changes and uncover new demand.
