Ninestar invests 100m yuan in short-term structured deposit

Ninestar Corporation (SZSE:002180) announced its latest cash management initiative, utilizing 100 million yuan of its idle raised funds to purchase a structured deposit product. This decision follows approvals from both the Seventh Board of Directors' Twentieth Meeting and the Seventh Board of Supervisors' Nineteenth Meeting, aiming to enhance the efficiency of capital utilization without impacting ongoing project construction or fundraising. The company is authorized to invest up to 150 million yuan in low-risk, high-liquidity products for a 12-month period, as detailed in a previous announcement from December 4, 2024.

On September 17, 2025, Ninestar signed an agreement with China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited, Zhuhai Branch, for the "Co-win Smart-Link Exchange Rate Linked RMB Structured Deposit A13353". This product is a principal-protected, floating-yield, closed-end investment with an expected yield range of 1.00%-1.90%. The investment has a one-month term, commencing on September 22, 2025, and maturing on October 23, 2025. The company confirms no related party relationship with China CITIC Bank.

This transaction is part of Ninestar's ongoing strategy to maximize returns on its idle capital. The company implements risk control measures, including regular monitoring of investment performance by its audit department and oversight by independent directors, to ensure capital security. This latest investment follows several similar structured deposit purchases made by Ninestar in 2025, consistently utilizing 100 million yuan for each product.
