Tecon Biology: August live hog sales volume up, revenue down

Tecon Biology Co., Ltd. sold 263,800 live hogs in August 2025, an 18.03% increase month-over-month and a 10.15% rise year-over-year. Sales revenue for the month reached CNY 380 million, up 13.43% from the previous month but down 17.03% compared to August 2024. The average selling price for commodity hogs (excluding piglets and breeding hogs) in August 2025 was CNY 12.79 per kilogram, a 6.09% decrease month-over-month.

For the first eight months of 2025, the company's cumulative live hog sales totaled 2.0155 million heads, an 8.24% increase from the same period last year. Cumulative sales revenue for this period reached CNY 2.958 billion, a 4.89% decrease year-over-year.
