Zhongtong bus reports strong august production and sales growth

Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. has released its August 2025 production and sales data, showing robust growth. Total production for August reached 1,035 units, a 66.67% increase compared to the previous year. Year-to-date production also saw a modest rise of 0.81%, totaling 8,172 units. Large vehicles led the production growth, with 568 units produced in August, a 63.22% year-over-year increase, and year-to-date production up 5.93% to 5,090 units. Medium vehicles also performed well with a 67.91% increase in August production to 361 units, though year-to-date production for this segment slightly declined by 2.25% to 2,560 units.

Sales figures mirrored the positive trend, with total sales reaching 1,052 units in August, an increase of 10.50% from last year. Year-to-date sales for the company were up 2.21% to 7,904 units. Large vehicles were a significant driver of this growth, with 666 units sold in August, representing a 61.26% jump from the previous year, and year-to-date sales climbing 7.10% to 4,976 units.

Despite the overall positive trend, light and logistics vehicles experienced declines in both production and sales for August and year-to-date. August production for this segment fell by 23.46% year-to-date, while August sales decreased by 46.04% compared to the previous year, with year-to-date sales down 33.81%. The company noted that these figures are preliminary and subject to final data in periodic reports.
