Tianshan Aluminium controlling shareholder pledges more equity

Zeng Chaoyi, a controlling shareholder of Tianshan Aluminium Group Co., Ltd., recently pledged 44.8 million shares, representing 0.96% of the company's total share capital, to China CITIC Bank Co., Ltd. This transaction, effective from September 9, 2025, to September 9, 2027, is for the purpose of repaying existing debt.

Following this pledge, Zeng Chaoyi's cumulative pledged shares now total 188.1 million, accounting for 47.77% of his holdings. Including shares held by his associated parties, the total pledged shares amount to 807.3863 million, representing 41.32% of their combined holdings and 17.36% of the company's total share capital.

The company stated that the controlling shareholder's credit status is good and that it has sufficient funds to repay the loan. It added there is no risk of a forced liquidation or transfer of shares, and the pledge will not impact the company's operations or governance, nor will it alter the actual control of the company.
