Ganfeng Lithium shareholder pledges new shares, releases others

Ganfeng Lithium announced that shareholder Wang Xiaoshen has informed the company of recent pledges and releases of his shares. On September 3, 2025, Wang pledged 14m shares, representing 9.90% of his total holdings and 0.68% of the company's total share capital. These shares are not restricted and are not for supplementary pledges, with the pledgee being China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd. for asset requirements.

Concurrently, Wang Xiaoshen also released pledges on a total of 9.6m shares. Specifically, 6.8m shares (4.81% of holdings, 0.33% of total capital) initially pledged on June 19, 2022, 0.9m shares (0.64% of holdings, 0.04% of total capital) pledged on May 30, 2023, and 1.9m shares (1.34% of holdings, 0.09% of total capital) pledged on August 16, 2023, were released as of September 4, 2025.

As of the announcement date, Wang Xiaoshen holds 141,460,966 shares, with 65.49m shares currently pledged. This represents 46.30% of his total holdings and 3.18% of the company's total share capital. The company states there is no risk of forced liquidation, and the pledged shares do not involve performance compensation obligations.
