Yunnan Energy New Material overhauls governance, appoints new employee director

Yunnan Energy New Material announced the resignation of Mr. Feng Jie as a non-independent director, effective immediately. Mr. Feng, who held 82,000 shares, will continue in his roles as general manager and sales department head of the subsidiary Hongta Plastic (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. Concurrently, the company elected Ms. Kang Wenting as the new employee representative director, effective September 4, 2025, for the remainder of the Fifth Board of Directors' term. Ms. Kang currently serves as the operations support and administrative department head and does not hold any company shares.

In a related development, the company also announced the cancellation of its supervisory board, effective September 4, 2025. This follows approvals from its Fifth Board of Directors and the Seventh Extraordinary General Meeting. As a result, Mr. Zhang Tao, Mr. Li Bing, and Ms. Kang Wenting will no longer serve as supervisors. Mr. Zhang Tao held 30,800 shares, and Mr. Li Bing held 22,400 shares. The supervisory board's functions and responsibilities will now be assumed by the Board's Audit Committee.
