Jiangling Motors sees mixed August 2025 production and sales, pickups decline

Jiangling Motors Co. released its voluntary information disclosure for August 2025 production and sales. Total production for the month reached 29,705 units, a 4.25% increase from August last year. Year-to-date cumulative production stands at 227,588 units, up 6.23% from the prior year.

Light buses saw a modest 3.51% increase in August production, totaling 7,370 units, while truck production surged by 11.11% to 5,710 units. SUV production also showed strong growth, rising 27.29% to 12,821 units. However, pickup production experienced a significant decline of 38.27% to 3,804 units.

On the sales front, Jiangling Motors sold a total of 30,003 units in August 2025, an 8.92% increase compared to the same month last year. Year-to-date cumulative sales reached 226,529 units, a 5.67% increase over the previous year. Light bus sales increased by 7.95% to 7,402 units, and truck sales saw a substantial 27.77% rise to 5,498 units. SUV sales grew by 23.26% to 13,038 units. In contrast, pickup sales fell by 30.00% to 4,065 units in August.
