Robotechnik secures major silicon photonics packaging deal for ficonTEC

Robotechnik Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. announced its wholly-owned subsidiary, ficonTEC Service GmbH, has secured a single contract with a subsidiary of a leading Swiss company, valued at approximately €9.465 million. This amount represents over 7.11% of Robotechnik's 2024 audited operating revenue and pertains to a full production line for automated silicon photonics packaging. The contract is effective upon signing and sealing by both parties.

The successful fulfillment of this contract is anticipated to significantly contribute to Robotechnik's operating performance for the current and future fiscal years. It also demonstrates the customer's high recognition of ficonTEC's capabilities, strengthening customer relationships and enhancing the company's brand influence and market competitiveness. Furthermore, the deal is expected to advance Robotechnik's technological leadership in the cutting-edge field of optoelectronic packaging equipment.

The company cautioned that the contract's execution is subject to potential risks from unforeseen policy changes, market conditions, or force majeure events, which could impact timely or full performance. The transaction is considered a daily operational contract and does not require approval from the board of directors or shareholders.
