Zhejiang Communications Technology wins major highway construction bids worth billions

Zhejiang Communications Technology has secured several major highway construction projects, following winning bid notices received on September 2, 2025. The company’s subsidiaries were designated as the first-ranked bidders for various sections of the G2531 Hangzhou-Shangrao Expressway, totaling approximately CNY 7.18 bn across four bid sections. These projects have construction periods ranging from 1,096 to 1,341 calendar days.

Additionally, the company secured bids for sections of the Yilongqing Expressway from Yiwu to Longquan (Jinhua section) and the G92 Hangzhou Bay Area Ring Expressway. For the Yilongqing Expressway, the total winning bid price across three sections amounts to approximately CNY 4.75 bn, with project durations from 1,158 to 1,462 calendar days.

The G92 Hangzhou Bay Area Ring Expressway project involves two sections, with Zhejiang Communications Technology participating in a joint venture for one section (CNY 3,919,197,177.00) and winning the other (CNY 1,425,555,580.00) independently. Construction periods for these sections are 1,672 and 1,491 calendar days, respectively. These projects are expected to bolster the company's market position and positively impact its performance.
