Ninestar's Gigadevice signs strategic deal with TELD for EV charging, AI power

Ninestar Corporation announced its controlling subsidiary, Zhuhai GigaDevice Semiconductor Co., Ltd., has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with TELD New Energy Co., Ltd., a leading player in electric vehicle charging. This framework agreement focuses on deepening strategic partnership, leveraging mutual strengths and resources to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the transportation sector.

The collaboration will focus on market promotion, product innovation, and forward-looking technology. Gigadevice Semiconductor will provide TELD with advanced MCU and DSP devices, along with related products and services, for new scenarios in the charging sector. This aims to enhance the development and application of high-performance domestic main control chips, addressing key bottlenecks in the intelligent upgrade of charging equipment and improving overall charging network efficiency and stability.

The agreement also targets the digital power domain, particularly in server power for AI computing. The partnership will pursue joint R&D, application innovation, and market expansion, aligning with policies to promote domestic substitution and build a green, intelligent, and efficient energy supply ecosystem. The agreement has a three-year term, with potential for extension through mutual consent. The signing is an intent-based framework and the impact on financial performance for 2025 and beyond is not yet determined.
