Henan Shenhuo announces executive retirements, resignation, and performance briefing

Henan Shenhuo Coal & Power Co., Ltd. recently announced significant leadership changes, with vice chairman Li Hui and Cui Jianyou resigning from their board positions due to age-related retirement. Li Hui also stepped down as chairman of the strategic committee, while Cui Jianyou resigned from the nomination committee. Additionally, Wu Changwei resigned from his role as deputy general manager due to work reassignments. The resignations of Li Hui and Cui Jianyou will not impact the minimum board size or normal operations, and the company will initiate the process of electing new directors.

Wu Changwei’s resignation as deputy general manager is effective immediately and will not affect the company's production or management. He will continue to serve as chairman of Zhengzhou Yuzhong Coal Industry Co., Ltd. and as a director for Xuchang Shenhuo Mining Group Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Shenhuo Mining Co., Ltd., and Henan Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. He will also remain as vice chairman of Henan Xinzheng Coal Power Co., Ltd. As of the announcement date, Wu Changwei holds 250,000 shares of the company, granted under the 2021 restricted stock incentive plan, which will continue to be managed according to relevant regulations.

In conjunction with these changes, Henan Shenhuo Coal & Power will host its 2025 half-year performance briefing on September 9, 2025, from 15:00 to 17:00. The online event will feature chairman Li Hongwei, independent director Huang Guoliang, chief accountant Chen Guang, and board secretary Li Yuanxun.
