Guangdong Zhongnan Steel chairman Wu Kunzong resigns

Guangdong Zhongnan Steel Company Limited announced today that its board of directors received a written resignation from chairman Wu Kunzong on August 28, 2025. Mr. Wu Kunzong is stepping down from his roles as company chairman, director, chairman of the Strategic Committee, and member of the Nomination Committee. Following his resignation, he will no longer hold any positions within the company or its subsidiaries.

The company clarified that Mr. Wu Kunzong's resignation will not lead to the number of board members falling below the statutory minimum and will not significantly impact the company's daily operations or management. His resignation took effect upon delivery to the company's board of directors. As of the announcement date, Mr. Wu Kunzong does not hold any shares in the company and has no unfulfilled commitments.
