Oriental Ocean subsidiary gets medical device approval

Shandong Oriental Ocean Sci-Tech announced that its subsidiary, AIVIC Biological Technology, has obtained a medical device registration certificate from the Shandong Provincial Medical Products Administration.

The certificate is for an Interleukin-6 assay kit intended for quantitative determination of IL-6 content in human serum, plasma, and whole blood. The registration is valid until August 2030.

The company noted the product has not yet entered production and its impact on future performance remains uncertain.
