BGI Genomics controlling shareholder pledges additional shares

BGI Genomics' controlling shareholder Shenzhen BGI Technology has pledged 5.45 million shares to China Minsheng Banking Corp for operational funding needs, representing 3.86% of its holdings.

Following this transaction, the shareholder's total pledged shares reached 103.75 million, accounting for 73.43% of its holdings and 24.80% of BGI Genomics' total share capital. Pledged shares due within one year total 57.12 million, valued at approximately RMB 248,060.
