Tecon Biology hog sales revenue falls 16.67% in July

Tecon Biology sold 223,500 live hogs in July 2025, down 8.06% month-on-month but up 0.99% year-on-year. Total sales revenue reached CNY 335 million, falling 2.05% from June and 16.67% from July 2024.

The average selling price for commercial hogs increased 2.95% month-on-month to CNY 13.62 per kilogram in July.

For January to July 2025, cumulative live hog sales reached 1.75 million heads, up 7.96% year-on-year. However, cumulative revenue of CNY 2.579 billion declined 2.75% compared to the same period last year.
