Joyvio subsidiary wins $297m arbitration award

Joyvio Agriculture Development announced its subsidiary Food Investment SpA received a $297.6m arbitration award from the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center in Chile.

The award includes $217.2m principal and $80.4m accrued interest. The ruling found the counterparty violated an equity acquisition agreement by failing to fully disclose Australis Seafood's condition and environmental information.

Food Investment SpA will pursue recognition and enforcement across multiple countries, though the final outcome remains uncertain.
