Midea Group completes 3.6bn yuan share buybacks

Midea Group has completed substantial portions of two major share buyback programs, spending a combined 3.6 billion yuan by July 31.

Under its 1.5-3 billion yuan program, the company repurchased 20.6 million A-shares for 1.51 billion yuan at prices ranging from 69.50-80.44 yuan per share.

The larger 5-10 billion yuan scheme saw 29.5 million A-shares bought back for 2.13 billion yuan, with prices between 69.91-73.59 yuan per share.
