Zhifei Bio secures key mRNA technology patent

Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products and its subsidiaries secured an invention patent for mRNA technology from China's National Intellectual Property Administration.

The patent, titled "A template DNA molecule and its application in the preparation of mRNA and vaccines," was granted on July 29, 2025. The patent was developed as part of the company's proprietary mRNA technology platform and will be applied to future research and development products.

Zhifei Bio said the patent acquisition will enhance its intellectual property protection system and strengthen its core competitiveness in the mRNA space.
