BYD massively expands share capital through dividend distributions

BYD Co., Ltd. has significantly expanded its share capital through major distributions effective July 29, 2025.

The company issued 982 million new H-shares as scrip dividends (80% of existing shares) and capitalized an additional 1.47 billion shares (120% of existing shares), bringing total H-share capital to 3.68 billion shares.

For A-shares, BYD issued 1.45 billion new shares as scrip dividends (80% of existing shares) and capitalized 2.17 billion additional shares (120% of existing shares), reaching total A-share capital of 5.43 billion shares.
