Haikong Sanxin halts production at key facilities

Haikong Sanxin (Bengbu) New Energy Materials, a controlled subsidiary of Haikong Nanfang Development, suspended operations at a 550-ton kiln and five deep-processing lines due to sustained losses from severe competition and declining prices in the photovoltaic glass sector.

The company's 650-ton kiln was previously suspended in September 2024. Haikong Sanxin will retain two deep-processing lines, adjusting output through external glass procurement.
