Angang Steel elects new chairman, eliminates supervisory board

Angang Steel elected Wang Jun as chairman following shareholder approval of a new board of directors at its extraordinary general meeting.

The company also eliminated its supervisory board entirely through a special resolution to revise its articles of association, marking a significant governance restructure.

The new board consists of nine directors, including four executive directors, one non-executive director, and four independent non-executive directors.
