Zotye Automobile forecasts continued loss despite production halt

Zotye Automobile expects a net loss of 13.5-20 billion yuan for the first half of 2025, down 22.66% to 47.80% from the 25.86 billion yuan loss in the same period of 2024.

Excluding non-recurring items, the company forecasts a loss of 10.08-15.12 billion yuan, improving 49.27% to 66.18% from the prior year's 29.80 billion yuan loss.

The company attributes continued losses to lack of operating funds preventing resumption of vehicle manufacturing.
