Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering Co has received an invention patent for early screening of monkeypox virus infection.

The patent covers a reagent that identifies monkeypox virus by detecting specific protein combinations through antibody testing, enabling accurate detection before visible skin symptoms appear.

The company said the technology holds significant value for early warning and control of infectious diseases.
