Muyuan Foods sales surge in June, prices decline

Muyuan Foods announced a substantial increase in hog sales for June 2025, with 7.019 million heads sold, representing a 58.35% increase compared to the same period last year. The company attributes this growth to its operational planning and improved production efficiency. However, the average selling price of hogs decreased to CNY 14.08 per kilogram, a 20.59% year-over-year decline. Sales revenue for the month totaled CNY 12.799 billion, a 27.65% increase.
