Guangdong Construction wins energy storage project bid

Guangdong Construction's subsidiary, Guangdong Yuantian Engineering, has won the bid for the design and construction general contracting (EPC) of the Lanjun Energy Storage Power Station Project in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone. The winning bid, announced on July 4, 2025, is valued at CNY188,837.156675 million, with CNY187,637.156675 million allocated for construction and CNY1.2 million for design. The project involves the construction of a 300MW/1200MWh independent energy storage power station and a 220kV step-up station connected to the Shenzhen power grid. Guangdong Yuantian will handle procurement and construction, while Guangdong Zhenshen Electric Power Design and Research will manage the design aspects. The final contract terms are subject to final agreement.
