Jilin Aodong shareholder Jincheng pledges and releases shares

Jilin Aodong Pharmaceutical Group (SZSE:000623) announced that its shareholder, Dunhua Jincheng Industrial Co., Ltd., has completed procedures for both share pledge and release. Jincheng pledged 12.5 million shares, representing 3.82% of its holdings and 1.04% of Jilin Aodong's total share capital. Concurrently, Jincheng released 14.05 million shares from pledge, representing 4.30% of its holdings and 1.17% of the company's total share capital. Following these transactions, Jincheng's cumulative pledged shares amount to 119.925 million shares, accounting for 36.67% of its holdings and 10.03% of Jilin Aodong’s total share capital. The pledge is for Jincheng's operational needs, while Jilin Aodong maintains that Jincheng's credit status is sound, with manageable pledge risks and no change in control.
