Hunan Gold subsidiary Anhua Zhazixi smelter to temporarily suspend production

Hunan Gold Corp (SZSE:002155) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Anhua Zhazixi Mining Co., Ltd.'s smelter, will temporarily suspend production for maintenance. The shutdown is scheduled to begin at the end of June 2025 and is expected to last no more than 30 days. The decision is based on recent market conditions and the annual equipment maintenance plan. Anhua Zhazixi, established in 1989, primarily engages in the exploration, mining, and smelting of gold, antimony, and tungsten. In 2024, the smelter produced 6,250 tons of antimony. As of December 31, 2024, its total assets were CNY 75,383.69 million with net assets of CNY 56,783.71 million, achieving revenue of CNY 64,793.83 million and a net profit of CNY 24,167.48 million for the year. From January to March 2025, the smelter produced 1,374 tons of antimony. The company stated that the temporary shutdown is not expected to significantly impact the company's operating performance.
