Citic Pacific Special Steel director Li Guozhong resigns

Citic Pacific Special Steel Group (SZSE:000708) announced the resignation of Director Li Guozhong, effective June 21, 2025. According to the announcement, Mr. Li’s resignation is due to work-related reasons and involves stepping down from his roles on the Board of Directors and associated committees focused on strategy, risk, and ESG. Mr. Li will no longer hold any positions within the company, except for his role as Chairman and legal representative of Jiangyin Xingfu Special Equipment Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary. The company confirmed that Mr. Li has no outstanding commitments and does not hold any company shares. Citic Pacific Special Steel stated that Mr. Li’s departure does not reduce the board below the statutory minimum and will not impact normal operations. The company will begin the process of appointing a replacement director. The board expressed its gratitude for Mr. Li's contributions during his tenure.
