Meichen Ecology & Environment receives warning letter from regulator

Shandong Meichen Ecology & Environment (SZSE:300237) announced that it has received an administrative supervision decision from the Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau following inaccuracies in its 2024 third-quarter report. The report required correction, leading to downward adjustments in the pre-tax profit, net profit attributable to shareholders, total assets and net assets for the first three quarters of 2024. The regulator has issued a warning letter to the company, former Chairman Sun Laihua, former General Manager Wang Yonggang and former CFO Liu Zengwei, requiring them to learn from the incident, improve legal compliance, and submit a written report within 30 days. The company stated that the administrative measures will not affect normal operations and that it will continue to fulfill information disclosure obligations.
