Tecon Biology's May pig sales decline slightly

Tecon Biology (SZSE:002100) announced its May 2025 pig sales figures, revealing a decrease compared to both the previous month and the same period last year. The company sold 229,700 pigs in May, a 6.13% drop month-over-month and a 9.67% decrease year-over-year. Sales revenue totaled CNY 345 million, down 9.21% from April and 19.95% from May 2024. The average selling price for commercial pigs (excluding piglets and breeding pigs) was CNY 14.02 per kilogram, a 2.09% decrease compared to the previous month. Year-to-date (January-May), Tecon Biology has sold 1.2851 million pigs, representing a 12.49% increase compared to the same period last year, with accumulated sales revenue of CNY 1.902 billion, a 4.22% increase year-over-year. The company has cautioned investors that the data has not been audited, and they are advised to make rational decisions.
