Zhejiang Windey invests CNY 982m in new energy project

Zhejiang Windey (SZSE:300772) announced plans to invest in the Yiwu County Associated New Energy Project through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xinjiang Windey New Energy Co., Ltd. The total investment is estimated at CNY 982 million, with approximately 20%, or CNY 198 million, funded by the company's own capital and the remainder financed through bank loans. The project involves installing 26 wind turbine units (10MW each) with energy storage, and constructing a monitoring center. Xinjiang Windey's registered capital will be increased to CNY 198 million to facilitate the investment. Zhejiang Windey anticipates the project will contribute positively to its long-term earnings and overall business structure, with the company emphasizing that the investment will not negatively affect its financial standing or shareholder interests.
