Royal Group loses appeal in CNY 310m dispute

Royal Group (SZSE:002329) has lost its appeal in a lawsuit concerning a CNY 310 million investment transfer dispute. The Shandong High People's Court upheld the original judgment from the Taian Intermediate People's Court, which favored Taian Dongyue Wealth Equity Investment Fund. The lawsuit stems from a dispute with Royal Num智 Co., Ltd. As a result of the initial judgment, Royal Group has already set aside CNY 19,071,850 in provisions for estimated liabilities in its 2024 financial statements. Royal Group will pursue a retrial. The company advises investors to remain cautious due to investment risks.
