Yunnan Copper to hold meeting on governance, charter changes

Yunnan Copper (SZSE:000878) announced that it will convene its second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025, with the board of directors having approved the meeting on May 28, 2025. Shareholders will vote on key resolutions including the elimination of the company's supervisory board and related amendments to the company's articles of association. In place of the supervisory board, the board of directors' audit and risk management committee will assume its responsibilities. As part of these governance changes, the company also plans to add a worker representative to the board of directors.
