China Merchants Shekou reports April sales, land acquisitions

China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings (SZSE:001979) reported CNY 14.764 billion in contracted sales for April 2025, with a total contracted sales area of 601,200 square meters. For the period of January to April 2025, the company achieved cumulative contracted sales of CNY 49.834 billion over 2.0594 million square meters. The company also announced recent land acquisitions including a residential plot in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province (25% stake for CNY 416.08 million), a commercial and residential plot in Chengdu (48% stake for CNY 1.63622 billion), and a residential plot in Beijing's Tongzhou District (100% stake for CNY 2.7082 billion). The company cautions that future partnerships on certain projects may affect its equity stake.
