Shanxi Meijin Energy's top shareholder partially lifts share pledge

Shanxi Meijin Energy (SZSE:000723) announced that its largest shareholder, Meijin Energy Group, has released the pledge on a portion of its shares. The released pledge involves 28 million shares, representing 1.70% of Meijin Energy Group's holdings and 0.64% of the total share capital. The pledge was lifted on May 7, 2025. Despite the recent release, Meijin Energy Group still holds 1,610,804,586 shares under pledge, which accounts for 97.85% of their total holdings and 36.58% of the company's total share capital, prompting the company to remind investors to be aware of related risks.
