Bona Film Group faces regulatory action over fund transfers

Bona Film Group (SZSE:001330) has announced that it, along with Chairman and General Manager Yu Dong, and Finance head Qi Zhi, received administrative regulatory decisions from the Xinjiang Securities Regulatory Bureau regarding undisclosed fund transfers. The investigation revealed that in 2022, Bona Film Group and its subsidiaries provided funds totaling CNY 20,992,680 to director Qi Zhi and related parties through third-party channels, constituting unauthorized use of funds by related parties. Similarly, in 2023, funds totaling CNY 26,055,320 were provided to controlling shareholder Yu Dong and related parties in a similar manner. While the funds have since been returned by the end of December 2024, the company failed to disclose these transactions as required. The company and relevant personnel have been ordered to rectify the issues and submit a compliance report.
