New Hope Liuhe net profit jumps 122.99% in Q1 2025

New Hope Liuhe (SZSE:000876) announced a substantial increase in net profit attributable to shareholders for the first quarter of 2025. The company reported a net profit of CNY444.69 million, a 122.99% increase compared to a loss of CNY1.93 billion in the same period last year. Revenue increased by 2.13% to CNY24.42 billion. Basic and diluted earnings per share both rose to CNY0.09 from a loss of CNY0.43. Operating cash flow surged by 633.20% to CNY966.67 million. The turnaround is attributed to rising prices and cost improvements in the company's hog business, coupled with increased profits in the feed sector.
