Wangsu Tech appoints new director amid board changes

Wangsu Science & Technology (SZSE:300017) announced board changes as Director Yan Yongchun resigned from his positions as director and committee member due to personal reasons, effective April 24, 2025. Yan's departure also included stepping down from the Audit Committee and Strategy Committee. To ensure board stability, Yan will continue in his duties until a successor is appointed. Simultaneously, the board has proposed Li Boyang as a new director, pending shareholder approval at the 2024 Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 7, 2025. The nomination was approved during the sixth board meeting. Li currently serves as the Deputy General Manager and Marketing Center General Manager for Wangsu. Furthermore, The company's 2024 Annual General Meeting will address director remuneration for the new directors. The Annual Meeting will take place both on site and by way of an electronic voting system, where key proposals such as stock option plans and profit distribution plans will be discussed. Existing shareholders will have the option to vote online or by proxy through the company's website.
