China Minmetals Rare Earth appoints new CFO after deputy GM resigns

China Minmetals Rare Earth (SZSE:000831) has announced the resignation of Deputy General Manager Liao Chunsheng due to work arrangements, effective immediately. The company expressed its gratitude for Liao's contributions during his tenure. Concurrently, the board has appointed Zhao Xuechao as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 18, 2025, until the end of the ninth board term. Zhao, born in July 1971 and holding an MBA, previously held senior positions at Guangdong GuangSheng Assets Management and GuangSheng Non-Ferrous Metals. China Minmetals Rare Earth confirmed that Zhao has no affiliations with major shareholders, controlling parties, directors, supervisors, or senior management, and does not hold any company shares. Furthermore, Zhao has not been subject to regulatory penalties or disciplinary actions, nor is he involved in any ongoing investigations by regulatory or judicial bodies.
