New Industries' controlling shareholder supplements share pledge

Shenzhen New Industries Biomedical Engineering (SZSE:300832) announced that its controlling shareholder, Xizang New Industry Investment Management Co., Ltd., has supplemented its share pledge by 2.97 million shares. This supplementary pledge involves 970,000 shares pledged to China Merchants Securities and 2 million shares pledged to Huatai Securities. Following the transaction, Xizang New Industry has pledged a total of 66.01 million shares, representing 31.26% of its holdings and 8.40% of Shenzhen New Industries' total share capital. The company clarified that the pledge serves as a supplement and does not involve new financing. Xizang New Industry and its actual controller, Mr. Weng Xianding, have assured that they possess the ability to fulfill their repayment obligations and will promptly notify the company of any potential risks associated with the pledged shares.
