Midea Group initiates A-share repurchase program

Midea Group (SZSE:000333) announced the commencement of its A-share repurchase program on April 9, 2025, as approved by the board of directors on April 8, 2025. The company repurchased 1,720,300 A-shares through a dedicated securities account, representing 0.0225% of the company's total share capital. The highest transaction price was CNY70.00 per share, and the lowest was CNY69.50 per share. The total amount paid was CNY120,004,725 (excluding transaction fees). The repurchase aligns with relevant laws and regulations and the company's established repurchase plan. Midea Group intends to use the repurchased shares for equity incentive plans and/or employee stock ownership plans. The company plans to repurchase shares for a total amount of between CNY1.5 billion and CNY3 billion, at a price not exceeding CNY100 per share. The repurchase period will last for 12 months from the date the board of directors approved the repurchase plan.
