Ganfeng Lithium achieves solid-state battery breakthroughs

Ganfeng Lithium (SZSE:002460) has reported significant progress in its solid-state battery R&D, positioning itself as a leader in the next-generation battery technology landscape. The company's efforts have yielded breakthroughs in materials, cell design, system integration, and commercial applications. Key achievements include a 400Wh/kg battery cell achieving over 800 cycles and completing engineering validation, indicating strong potential for scaled production. Ganfeng has also achieved small-batch production of a 500Wh/kg 10Ah product, establishing a benchmark for lithium metal batteries. In parallel, its silicon-based anode systems are progressing with product tiers ranging from 320-450Wh/kg, with the 320Wh/kg cell demonstrating over 1000 cycles. The company is also developing cylindrical cell technology, with energy densities ranging from 330-400Wh/kg. Collaborations are underway with international automotive manufacturers for high-energy lithium anode battery development, and with drone and eVTOL companies for low-altitude flight applications, targeting commercialization.
