Yunnan Energy New Material secures major US supply deal

Yunnan Energy New Material (SZSE:002812) announced that its subsidiary, SEMCORP Manufacturing USA LLC, has signed a supply agreement with a prominent US automotive manufacturer. Under the agreement, the US customer is projected to purchase approximately 973 million square meters of lithium battery separator film from SEMCORP USA between 2026 and 2030. The definitive volumes will be specified in future purchase orders. The company emphasizes that the agreement's execution is subject to risks and uncertainties typical for long-term contracts, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and market fluctuations. Still, Yunnan Energy New Material anticipates a positive impact on its financial performance from 2026 through 2030 should the contract be fulfilled.
