BYD's March 2025 NEV sales surge 59.81% year-over-year

BYD (SZSE:002594) announced a substantial surge in its new energy vehicle (NEV) sales for March 2025. The company's sales volume reached 377,420 vehicles, marking a 59.81% increase compared to the 302,459 vehicles sold in the same period last year. NEV production also saw a considerable rise, with 395,091 vehicles produced in March 2025, up 72.64% from 296,253 vehicles in March 2024. Year-to-date NEV sales totaled 1,000,804 units, a 59.81% increase compared to the 626,263 units sold in the same period last year. The company’s total installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries was approximately 20.347GWh in March 2025. Overseas NEV sales reached 72,723 units for the month.
