Kingland Pipeline achieves breakthrough in hydrogen pipeline technology

Zhejiang Kingland Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. (SZSE:002443) announced that its subsidiary, Zhangjiagang Sha Steel Kingland Pipeline Co., Ltd., has successfully completed the trial production of "Hydrogen Dedicated Pipeline - X60MH straight seam submerged arc welded pipe." The product has passed hydrogen compatibility testing by the China Iron & Steel Research Institute, demonstrating its suitability for hydrogen pipeline projects. This development aligns with China's increasing policy support for the hydrogen energy industry, positioning hydrogen as a crucial component of the future energy system. The trial involved the production of 813*14.3 specifications, X60MH grade pipelines, incorporating innovations in steel composition, rolling process optimization, and welding material selection. The finished pipes met the requirements for hydrogen pipeline projects, furthering Kingland's experience in this growing field. A formal national standard is now being developed for these products.
