Newland Digital Technology shareholder pledges 16m shares

Newland Digital Technology (SZSE:000997) announced that its controlling shareholder, Newland Technology Group, has pledged 16 million shares of the company, representing 5.13% of its holdings and 1.55% of Newland Digital Technology's total share capital. The pledge was completed on March 13, 2025, and is due when the pledge release registration is completed at the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation. The pledge serves as a supplement to Newland Technology Group's working capital. Following this transaction, Newland Technology Group's total pledged shares amount to 77.5 million, representing 24.84% of its holdings and 7.51% of Newland Digital Technology's total share capital.
