By-Health proposes $847m dividend and share repurchase

By-Health Co., Ltd. (SZSE:300146) announced its proposed 2024 profit distribution plan, earmarking a total of approximately $847 million (CNY 6,06 billion) for cash dividends and share repurchase, pending shareholder approval at the 2024 annual general meeting. The proposed distribution includes a cash dividend of CNY 3.6 per 10 shares, totaling approximately $84 million (CNY 606 million), combined with the expenditure of approximately $33.5 million (CNY 241.5 million) for a share repurchase program. According to the audit statement by Huaxing Certified Public Accountants (Special General Partnership), By-Health recorded net profits attributable to shareholders of approximately $90 million (CNY 652.8 million) in 2024. The proposed shareholder returns represent 129.83% of the net profit. The board also confirmed that the transaction amounts to less than 50% of their total assets.
